CONTROLLER
The Hilton Garden Inn Center City
Philadelphia is searching for an experienced Controller to lead our
hotel's financial operations. This is a beautiful hotel located in
Center City Philadelphia with 279 rooms and function space. If you are

Position Summary:
Supervises and directs all financial activities of the hotel.
Responsible for preparation of financial statements, balance sheet
reconciliations, account analysis, and monitoring property internal
controls. Communicates with property accounting staff and managers to
assure sound management of receivables, cash flow, and cost controls.
Position reports to corporate controller.
Essential functions:
Prepares and/or reviews daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports of
operations with comparison to forecast, budget, and prior years for
the hotel. Reviews Accounts
Payable invoices submitted to assure proper coding and accounting
treatment. Works with the
General Manager to prepare annual and monthly budgets and forecasts.
Coordinates with the General Managers all
financial reporting narratives. Manages
cash flow, planning and approving all cash disbursements and
maintenance of daily cash position, weekly cash forecasts, and monthly
statement of cash flow projections. Responsible
for hiring and training the property accounting staff. Assures
all balance sheet account reconciliations are updated on monthly
basis. Assures all
accounting procedures are in compliance with generally accepted
accounting procedures and company policies and procedures.
Manages and monitors all property
construction/renovation related accounting. Performs
other tasks as directed by Corporate Controller, CFO, or other Senior
Executive Management.
